I also had a work ending physical problem twenty years ago and because now I have a pre-exhisting condition (as you do also) there is not an employer that can hire us because the insurance companies that insure the companies tell them not to hire people like us. Because when they do, that insurance company would now have to pay any future bills while we're in that companies employ but they may also have retro-active costs as well.

But you and I are truly blessed, we are now FREE from that daily 9-5/8am - 9pm shift that we did when we had jobs that kept us financially Just Over Broke all our lives.  Now that economy has taken a huge jolt recently and especially with the gas prices @ $4.00+ a gal., there should be alot less cars that need a mechanic.

 Now is not the time to think: Woe is me! (believe me, we all do when our life changes so drastically) Yeah, take 5 minutes and have good cry but don't let this take your life by being negative and depressed. It will suck the life right out of you.

Now you can finally re-structure your priorities in life and have the choice of making the income you desire.

Personally, I would stay away from rent-to-own places - you end up paying a LOT more than you would normally and the interest is outrageous. Read the teeny, tiny, print and figure out what your total cost would be prior to signing anything.

You can usually get a refurbished computer through the major companies or even around your own area for a LOT less expensive than you would a brand new computer.

I seem to be telling this over and over again to people. Just because you cannot go out in the world to work for someone else, doesn't mean you cannot work for yourself. There are so many things you can sell online. Sell from ebay. If you have a computer, and by the way you can rent one from rent a center, the posibillities are endless.
